    Those who have chronic diseases must undergo a prior check and ensure they have an updated vaccination schedule in order to be protected. The Yellow Fever vaccine is mandatory to travel to risk areas such as Brazil, Bolivia, Peru and Venezuela.

    It is also recommended to be vaccinated against measles since there are confirmed cases of the disease in Argentina, Brazil, the United States, Canada and other countries. Travelers must have both doses of the vaccine to travel to these countries.

    The International Vaccination Certificate is a mandatory document for national and foreign travelers coming from or going to risk areas. The International Vaccination Certificate is presented when entering and leaving the country and is required at immigration, land, river and airport checkpoints. The document is issued in regional hospitals in the country and does not require visa or authentication.

    To enter our country, the latest update from the Ministry of Health reminds us of the current health requirements and remembers that both the RT-PCR test and the Covid-19 vaccine are not necessary since October 24, 2022. However, , every traveler, national or foreign, who comes from risk areas: Brazil, Bolivia, Peru and Venezuela, must be vaccinated against Yellow Fever and have the International Vaccination Certificate that certifies it.

    The international digital vaccination certificate is also validated as an official document, and can be obtained by entering the website www.paraguay.gov.py
