Zelensky thanked the allies for their support.
The United States Senate has finally approved a $40 billion emergency military and humanitarian aid package for Ukraine.
As Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of President Volodymyr Zelensky, said, this is a historic vote.
“The US Senate has approved a bill to allocate nearly $40 billion in emergency military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine,” he said.
Yermak added that the package was approved by a majority of votes and now it will be sent to the White House for the signature of the US President.
“We are moving towards victory confidently and strategically. Thanks to the allies. Everything will be Ukraine,” the head of the President’s Office stressed.

Recall, on May 17 it became known that the US Senate managed to hold a procedural vote on a bill on providing Ukraine with $40 billion in military and humanitarian aid.
On April 28, US President Joe Biden requested $33 billion in aid to Ukraine, including more than $20 billion in military aid.
Later State House of Representatives increased this amount up to about $40 billion.
