According to the regulations, The vaccines will be applied to long-lived birds, which includes birds from poultry farms and fighting birds, with the projection of vaccinating 30 to 40 million birds in the first stage.
Among the agreed agreements, in the coming days SENASA will hold meetings with each of the laboratories interested in registering the vaccine against avian influenza, in order to streamline the processes and guide them more precisely to achieve official registration and thus have greater availability. of biologicals approved in the country.
It should be noted that the acquisition of vaccines will not represent an expense for the State, since these will be paid for by the private sector, which has shown interest in this control method.

SENASA’s job in the vaccination process is to ensure that the controls established in the standard are met and for this, it is necessary to work in coordination with the private sector.
With the budget allocation of 17 million soles from Punche Peru, surveillance, diagnostic capacity, and control actions will be strengthened, which will make it possible to identify cases and control them immediately, as well as improve the operation of responding to vaccination requests. .
Finally, it was announced that work is being done and facilities are being provided to poultry companies so that they can import fertile eggs and thus ensure production for the coming months.
