Semi-detached house on fire in Elverum
At least eight residents have been evacuated after a fire in a vacant house in Elverum on the night of Friday.
– An apartment has caught fire, and there is a risk of it spreading to nearby homes on the site, operations manager Rune Vegard Huse, at the Innlandet police district, tells NRK.
So far no injuries have been reported. No people have been reported missing in connection with the fire.
Residents in the area are asked to close windows due to a lot of smoke in the area.
At 01.45 the police report that the fire service has the fire under control.
There are two units that are uninhabitable, the police Innlandet tweets.
