He only has other movable assets amounting to IDR 8 million, as well as cash and cash equivalents worth IDR 144 million. So the total wealth of Commissioner Irwan Anwar is IDR 152 million.
Commissioner Irwan Anwar is one of the witnesses questioned by Polda Metro Jaya. Director of Special Criminal Investigation (Direskrimsus) Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak confirmed this. However, Ade did not explain when Kombes Irwan was questioned. He only revealed that Irwan was being examined as a witness in the investigation process.
“It is true that (Irwan) is one of the witnesses who has been clarified at the investigation stage,” said Ade Safri, Sunday, October 8 2023, as reported by Tempo.

Ade also did not reveal further what information investigators had on Kombes Irwan Anwar in the process of examining the alleged extortion case. He only explained that investigators would later summon Irwan as a witness in the process of investigating this case.
Commissioner Irwan Anwar is a relative of Syahrul Yasin Limpo. According to information gathered, Commissioner Irwan Anwar took part in a meeting between Syahrul Yasin Limpo and KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri. He is also suspected of handing over the besel.
