Suara.com – Kia Motor India, Saturday (22/8/2020) then reported that their newest sport utility vehicle (SUV), Kia Sonet, received orders for 6,523 units on the first day booking online which opened Thursday (20/8/2020).
Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Kia Motors India, Kookhyun Shim, said that the order figures prove consumer confidence in the Kia brand.
“This shows that Indian consumer confidence in the Kia Brand has grown rapidly in just one year of our operation in India,” said Kookhyun Shim.
Kookhyun said the Kia factory in Anantpur would operate efficiently and optimally so that consumers would not take long to get the Sonet.
The Kia Sonet, which uses a 1.2-liter Smartstream four-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.0 T-GDi, is car The second Kia produced in India after previously producing the Kia Seltos.
The Kia Sonet will compete directly with the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Breza, Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon.
