Roy Keane believes Pep Guardiola is not worried about releasing Jesus and Zinchenko to Arsenal. The former Manchester United captain supports Guardiola’s squad overhaul.
“I will not doubt Pep’s opinion about the players. He works with them. You have to keep going, you have to do a refresh. They have a lot of money for these players, who have been brilliant players for Manchester City,” Roy Keane told reporters. ITV Sport.
“Jesus has been doing really well in the last few months, Sterling’s stats are incredible, but with Haaland coming in, Pep might think he wants to keep a hungry squad.”
“He probably, at the moment with the money that’s coming in, doesn’t see these clubs – Arsenal of course – as a threat. His big concern right now is trying to stay ahead of Liverpool. Liverpool and Manchester City are way ahead of the team. – other teams, he thinks it’s worth a try,” said Roy Keane.
