The practice is considered a violation of consumer laws in Brazil.

Brazilian consumer law prohibits companies from selling separate charging devices.

Brazilian consumer protection agency Procon-SP said Apple violated the Consumer Defense Act.

Procon in Sao Paulo imposed a $2.07 million fine on Apple for not providing charging devices.

Not only Apple, Samsung also experienced the same thing in Brazil.
