Sellers of Hajj Equipment in Pamulang Admit to Difficulty in Receiving Orders

WARTAKOTALIVE.COM, TANGERANG – Ahead of the 2023 Hajj pilgrimage, stores selling Hajj and Umrah equipment are overwhelmed because of the large number of orders.

One of them was experienced by Ahmad Rifai, a seller of Hajj equipment at the Reni Jaya Complex, Pamulang District, South Tangerang City.

When met at his place of business, Ahmad was in the middle of preparing some of the Hajj equipment.

He did not deny that the moment of leaving for the 2023 pilgrimage was a profitable moment for him.

“For this year, sales have indeed increased. I’m running out of stock because there are many requests for various, various sizes of pants. And so far I can fulfill them and the supplies are here,” he said.

Dozens of prospective pilgrims from various regions, including Depok, also shopped for Hajj equipment at their place.

Ahmad said, the equipment that was purchased the most was the type of undershirt and pants. For the price itself is quite affordable.

“This year, we prepared ourselves as best we could, and the increase in buyers was very drastic, either coming in person or online,” he said.

Meanwhile, it is also known that there are 993 prospective pilgrims who will depart for the holy land from South Tangerang City.

This was said by Dedi Mahfudin, as the head of the South Tangerang Ministry of Religion office.

The South Tangerang City congregation who will depart and have gone through the results of validation by the Banten Province PHU field are 993.

“In the beginning, 1,094 were entitled to pay off. In fact, after two extensions of the repayment period, the result was 993. Hopefully later there will be more reserve pilgrims who will add. We are still waiting,” he said, Wednesday (24/5/2023) in his office.

He continued, the hundreds of pilgrims were divided into four departures.

The first departure was in group 10 with a total of 393, complete with flight attendants and TPHD.
