There is a grass fire on Garvikstrondi in Seljord. Nome and Midt-Telemark fire and rescue department Bø is now assisting in the work of extinguishing the fire.
– There are about 3 goals that burn. Efforts are being made to control the fire. The fire helicopter and the civil defense are on their way to the scene, the police write on Twitter.
The fire is at Telnes camping by Seljordsvannet according to a TA tipper.
It is unclear how it originated.
On Monday, the Meteorological Institute issued a yellow level warning for local grass and heather fire danger where there is no snow.
