He was fired after taking part in a Lega event in Minerbio, in the Bologna area, during which he took a selfie with the leader Matteo Salvini, while, as the company management informed him, he was ill. The protagonist is an employee of a Bolognese company and for six years RSA representative of Filt-Cgil, Cristian Lanzi, 47 years old.
Employed in a logistics company, the 47-year-old would have been seen by employers, in the images taken by a local TV, participate in the Lega initiative of 18 November. After a letter announcing disciplinary proceedings, which the employee says he did not receive, the dismissal started. Resto del Carlino tells it. The act was challenged by Lanzi’s lawyers, the lawyers Francesco Alleva, Ugo Lenzi and Gabriele Cazzara.
Lanzi explained to the newspaper that from 2 October he was ill, with a prognosis until 6 December, for a pathology certified by doctors for which he had been recommended to leave the house out of availability. Lawyers claim that the selfie with Salvini was taken outside of these hours. Contacted by Ansa, the secretary of the Filt-Cgil Bologna Andrea Matteuzzi explained: “We know Lanzi and we are ready to give him our availability to support him”.
