Selfie paradise: you’ve never photographed New York like this

New York is getting ready for the tourists. From Monday, November 8th, travelers will be allowed to enter the USA again. The US tourism industry hopes for many visitors. The newest attraction in New York should certainly contribute to this.

Manhattan’s new glittering observation deck promises tourists and locals alike a view of New York like they’ve never seen it before. «Summit One Vanderbilt» offers a panoramic view over the metropolis as well as art installations on three floors.

At Air at Night, for example, visitors can immerse themselves in an evening sound and light show designed by artist Kenzo Digital. As the city lights come on, the light installation transforms the space into a mix of color and illusion.

For selfie fans, there’s Affinity, an interactive space filled with hundreds of reflective spheres, and Unity, where visitors themselves become part of the experience by having their portraits transformed into projected clouds.

The so-called “skyboxes” provide thrills, allowing guests to step out of the building shell and move around 300 meters above Madison Avenue on transparent glass. The absolute highlight for many visitors is likely to be the all-glass lifts with transparent glass floors, which go up to over 364 meters on the outside of the building. It is the highest vantage point in Midtown Manhattan.

A trip at night is particularly spectacular. The operators hope that the observation deck will attract visitors from all over the world.
