From Saturday, July 3, no immigrants from the Netherlands, Greece, Denmark and Slovenia have to observe self-isolation when entering Latvia, according to the information of the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPKC).

People who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19 will still have to comply with the ten-day self-isolation when returning from Great Britain, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Andorra, Monaco, Cyprus.

The 14-day cumulative rate of Covid-19 morbidity per 100,000 population in Latvia is currently 61.9.

The average indicator of the European Union and the European Economic Area continues to decrease and has reached 38.6. A week earlier, the figure was 51.2.

At present, no country in the world is included in the list of countries at particularly high risk for countries with an epidemiological situation that could pose a serious threat to public health.

It has already been reported that persons vaccinated against Covid-19 who have entered Latvia from any EU, EEA country, Switzerland or Great Britain will no longer have to comply with the self-isolation requirement by approving amendments to the “Epidemiological Safety Measures to Control the Spread of Covid-19 Infection”. .
