According to her, the test drive took place on December 22 at night. The self-driving truck traveled about 130 kilometers in 80 minutes.

As indicated, the car successfully crossed intersections, exits, emergency lanes, if necessary, changed lane, naturally interacting with other vehicles.

“This year, we have focused on putting our technology to a rigorous reality test on public roads,” said President Cheng Lu.

TuSimple has been developing an autonomous car for a year and a half.
