Emergency services were called around 3pm. The accident occurred when the driver wanted to park his vehicle on Annastraat on “autopilot” of the car.
This time it didn’t go quite according to plan and according to him the car went crazy. A total of five other parked cars were damaged. The car came to rest against a tree, after which the tree snapped in two. Part of the tree fell against a front door of a house.
The driver and his wife were unhurt. He called it a horror dream come true, but he’s relieved that he and his wife are out in one piece.
