Popular singer Selena Gomez was caught in a love affair with Miami Heat basketball player Jimmy Butler. After they were spotted having dinner at the French restaurant “Lucien” in New York’s “East Village” last month, the world media and social networks announced the new romance between the singer and the basketball player.
“They definitely looked like they were dating,” eyewitnesses told Page Six.
Before Selena, Butler was in a relationship with model Caitlin Novak, with whom they have a one-year-old daughter, Riley. The former partners appear to have remained on good terms after the breakup, as Caitlin was spotted celebrating with Butler’s team in the NBA Finals in September.
Two months ago, Selena said that the coronavirus pandemic had completely stopped her love life. She was in a tumultuous relationship with singer Justin Bieber for years, and after their separation she was spotted with rapper The Weeknd.
