Singer and actor Selena Gomez (29) saw herself forced to apologize in her own comments section after she received several offensive comments on a TikTok video. Several thought she was being bullied Hailey Bieber (25).
The 25-year-old is married to the superstar Justin Bieber (28)who for several years had an on-and-off relationship with Gomez.
The drama began after the “Lose You To Love Me” singer posted a video just hours after Bieber released a makeup video. In Gomez ‘video, she is seen removing her make-up and doing her skincare routine.
Several of Bieber’s fans believe the 29-year-old is making fun of her and that she is trying to override Bieber’s video by showing herself unmade.
‘And you do not see the hypocrisy in this? She is supposed to “resist pulling down other women” and be a spokeswoman for mental health. It seems that she is a performative loser who gets away with bullying other women “, an anonymous user had commented.
Fans on Twitter take Gomez in defense and say they do not understand what she has done wrong.
no, theres nothing wrong w it, just that hailey bieber did a skincare routine almost at the same time (right before) so ppl are getting upset cuz sel did the same thing and they thought she was making fun of it🤡 like if skincare was weird? make it make sense cuz i dont get it
“No, there’s nothing wrong, just that Hailey Bieber put out a skincare routine almost simultaneously (just before). So people get upset because Sel (Gomez, journ.anm.) Did the same thing and they think she was kidding. As if skin care was weird? Make it make sense because I do not understand it “, explains a fan on Twitter.
After several offensive comments, Gomez chose to leave an apology, before closing the comment field. She says herself that she has no idea why people react.
“This is why I believe in taking care of their mental health. You guys, no idea what I did, but I’m really sorry. No bad intentions. Deleting soon », was the comment to Gomez.
The video is still being watched on Gomez ‘TikTok profile, and neither Hailey nor Justin Bieber have commented on the allegations that the video was intended as a sting.
