Selena Gomez et Drew Taggart were spotted holding hands on what looked like a date! The Disney alum, 30, and The Chainsmokers singer, 34, were pictured outside the famous Italian restaurant Torrisi Bar & Restaurant by the chef Rich Torrisi Saturday January 21. Selena bundled up in a black turtleneck sweater under a black coat, straight pants and a chunky loafer, accessorized with her signature chunky earring and a black leather shoulder bag. Meanwhile, Drew wore jeans with a butterfly pattern, white sneakers and a sporty blue striped jacket. He also opted to stay warm with a charcoal gray colored hoodie.
The seemingly romantic evening comes just a day after Selena insisted she was “single” in response to reports the pair were dating. “I LOVE BEING ALONE TOO MUCH,” she wrote in a black-and-white photo of the sky, with the head of what appeared to be a man – possibly Drew – appearing in the bottom of the frame. She then added the hashtag “#iamsingle”.
Last weekend, the couple sparked romance rumors after they were photographed on what looked like a date at a New York bowling alley. Drew playfully applauded the ‘Same Old Love’ singer as she made her way to The Gutter, while Selena laughed and smiled during the exchange. They didn’t appear to be trying to keep a low profile as they happily posed for photos with fans on and off site, which went viral on social media.
Other reports from inside the venue said the duo were “kissing” during the apparent date. “do some silly things” during their date. “There was also a group of young girls who went to get pictures of her shortly after and a man who got an autograph,” the source told Page 6. According to another outlet, the pair have also known each other for some time before their relationship took a romantic turn. “The timing was wrong [at first] but the pair crossed paths again recently. So far so good,” an insider told Way of life.
