Selections: Portugal calls up three PSG players

Roberto Martinez has revealed a 26-man roster for Portugal’s next two Nations League matches. There we find two new players and three PSG players, including Vitinha.

At the top of its Nations League group with two victories in as many matches, Portugal will face Poland on Saturday October 12 in Warsaw and Scotland on Tuesday October 15 in Glasgow. For these two new Nations League matches, Portugal coach Roberto Martinez has called up 26 players, including 3 Parisians.

Already present at the Euro and last September, Nuno MendesJoão Neves et Vitinha are thus summoned. Not really a surprise, even if we would obviously have preferred that Vitinha was left to rest after his recent ankle problems which started with his selection during the last September break. In the rehabilitation phase, Gonçalo Ramos logically missing from the call.

In the Portugal list, we also find two newcomers: Farense goalkeeper Ricardo Velho (26 years old) and Mallorca midfielder Samuel Costa (23 years old). The former Parisian Danilo Pereirawho joined Saudi Arabia during the last transfer window, was not called up, as in September.
