Selection of court assessors: the process is launched – AGP

Libreville September 2, 2024 (AGP) – The election of non-professional assessors of labor courts in the Gabonese Republic will be organized together with the Ministry of Justice and the work, citing a press release from the Ministry of Justice that received the AGP. .

According to order No. 00010/MTLC/MJGS amending order 089/MJGS/MEFPTFP establishing terms and conditions for the selection of non-professional assessors of labor courts in the Gabonese Republic, the selections will be made according to the table below. :

From 02 to 13/09/2024: Submission of voter lists to the General Directorate of Civil Affairs;

From September 16 to 17, 2024: Verification of the electoral list by the Electoral Commission.

From 09/18 to 10/08/2024: Presentation of the provisional selection list and possible appeals,

From 09 to 11/10/2024: Verification of the electoral list by the Electoral Commission after handling appeals; 12/10/2024: Presentation of final selection list.

10/14/2024: Convocation of the electoral college with an order determining the time, place of voting and the date for submission of applications.

From 15 to 16/10/2024: Collection of application forms from the General Directorate of Civil Affairs.

From 10/17 to 23/2024: Submission of application files to the General Directorate of Civil Affairs.

10/24/2024: Processing and verification of candidate files by the Election Commission.

From 25 to 28/10/2024: Presentation of the provisional list of applications and possible appeals.

From 29 to 30/10/2024: Verification of the list of candidates by the Electoral Commission after handling appeals;

10/31/2024: Presentation of the final list of applications.

From 02 to 08/11/2024: Campaign period.

09/11/2024: Election; Location: Chamber of Commerce.

Please note that the planned date for declaring the results is November 9, 2024.
