TIME.CO, Cikarang – General Election Commission (KPU) Bekasi Regency Voting Committee Selection (PPS) opened today. The elected members of the PPS will act as organizers of the 2024 simultaneous elections in that area.

Registration for prospective PPS members is opened online through the application https://siakba.kpu.go.id./. Applicants can also go directly to the Bekasi Regency KPU Secretariat Office, Jalan Raya Rengasbandung No. 103, Karanggulung Village, Kedungwaringin District.
The training phase of the PPS will be followed by a written test on 2-4 January 2023. A test interview will follow on 8-10 January 2023. The inauguration of the elected members of the PPS is scheduled for January 17th.
“For the smoothness and ease of the registration process, applicants are advised to pay attention to the format and size of digital documents uploaded to the website,” Jajang said.
Bekasi Regency KPU Human Resources Division Chief Dhany Wahab Habieby said that 561 PPS members are needed for 187 villages and sub-districts across Bekasi Regency in the 2024 election.
“We are calling on members of the public, especially young people, to become election organizers,” he said.
The requirements for PPS members are:
1. Indonesian citizens are at least 17 years old
2. At least high school education or equivalent
3. Domiciled in the working area of PPS
4. Physically, spiritually able and free from drug abuse
5. Applicants are also required to attach a declaration with stamp duty whose format has been determined and can be downloaded in the online application https://siakba.kpu.go.id
“Registration letters, declarations, CVs, health certificates and final diplomas are in PDF format, while passport photos and eIDs are in JPEG format, each document having a maximum size of one megabyte,” he said Jajang.
