A limited batch of Norwegian herring “Mathias” in silver packaging was released in Belarus. It is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the brand and has the status of an exclusive anniversary novelty. Selected herring released BREMOR together with the Norwegian Fish Committee and has already arrived in stores.
For selected limited edition herring, silver packaging is used. In the center there is a large plaque with the inscription “25 years you choose “Mathias”. The transparent window in the shape of a fish remained in the same place. As usual, you can examine the fillet through it before purchasing. Inside is selected fish caught in the autumn months. During this period, it gains weight and acquires a rich, rich taste. This herring is considered the fattest and most tender.
The packaging also bears the Seafood from Norway mark. It means that it contains high quality fish from the cold waters of Norway and the production has been inspected by the Norwegian Fish Committee.
“The release of a limited edition is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Matias brand. Thus, we wanted to thank customers who have been appreciating the taste and quality of first-class fish for a quarter of a century. “Mathias” is a legendary product with which the history of the BREMOR company began. This herring is of Norwegian origin. It is in the North Atlantic that selected herring is caught in autumn and winter, which is considered especially fatty, tender and tasty. During the season, we purchase the best raw materials and control storage conditions (at a temperature of minus 24 degrees), so that the consumer receives a guaranteed high-quality and tasty product,” notes Olesya Elina, deputy director of marketing at BREMOR.
“Mathias” traces its history back to 1997. Before him, herring in Belarus was presented in the form of uncut fish. Housewives had to clean and cut the herring themselves. The appearance of ready-made fillets in vacuum packaging then led to the creation of a new segment in the market.
Mathias fillet is made from herring caught in Norwegian waters. These clear waters are ideal for the growth and development of fish. Norwegian herring is superior to many types of fish in terms of protein and fatty acids, including omega-3. It also contains a lot of vitamin D, which is important for the body.
Every third package of herring purchased in Belarus is Matias herring. The brand occupies 40% of the herring market in Belarus, and 95% of consumers know “Mathias”.
A limited batch of selected herring has already arrived in stores throughout Belarus. The quantity of the anniversary package of Matias herring is limited.
“Mathias” is one of the brands in the BREMOR company’s product portfolio, which is also represented by the brands “Santa Bremor”, “Granny Anya”, “It’s Time”, “YUKKI”, “TOP” and Soletto. Since 2015, the manufacturer has been interacting with the Norwegian Fish Committee, which helps ensure high quality herring at all stages – from catch to store shelf.
