According to the Saudi Al-Riyadiya newspaper, Al-Alami’s management has decided on the Ivorian’s departure from the team during the current winter Mercato, with goalkeeper David Ospina returning from injury replacing him.

The agent revealed that Fofana already has two offers, saying: “We have official offers from Al-Shabab and Al-Ettifaq, and even Moussa Dembele, the Al-Ettifaq player, expressed his desire for Fofana to play for him, but until this moment we have not agreed with any of the clubs.”
He added: “After completing his mission in the African Cup, we will decide whether to play for Al-Ettifaq or Al-Shabab, or he will continue with Al-Nasr.”
