Beef is seized at the Ambato Road Post
At 1:40 p.m. today, while members of the Road Safety Directorate of the Provincial Police, together with their counterparts from the La Puerta Police Station, carried out vehicle control and identification of people at the road post in that town, located on provincial route No. 1, Ambato Department, they proceeded to control a white Renault Oroch truck, driven by a 59-year-old woman, in the company of a 40-year-old man.
When inspecting the vehicle, the police observed that these people were transporting bags and bins with about 156 kg of beef and 3 bovine heads, without the cold chain or corresponding health measures, so they immediately proceeded to kidnap them. the load, giving intervention to Bromatology personnel of the Municipality of Fray Mamerto Esquiú, who seized it and carried out the necessary actions.
