The Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MARN) reported that seismic activity in Conchagua and its surroundings has increased to more than 160 recorded earthquakes.
According to MARN data, a total of 161 earthquakes have been recorded, which are due to the activation of local geological faults in Conchagua and its surrounding areas.
Of this number of earthquakes, five of them were felt by Salvadorans, which had magnitudes between 2.5 and 3.5 on the Richter scale.
According to reports, the seismic activity began at 10:14 in the morning on March 5, until 8:15 on the 8th of the same month.
