Travelers using the tramway T1 will have to do without four stations in Bobigny (Seine-Saint-Denis), during many days. La Ferme, Liberation, Hôtel de Ville and Pablo Picasso stations will be closed from Saturday 13 to Monday 15 February 2021.
Traffic will be interrupted between Normandie-Niemen squadron and Jean Rostand. These two stations will therefore be temporary terminus as shown in the diagram below.
This involves pooling the modernization works (destruction of the platforms at the Bobigny town hall station) and those of the extension (destruction of a footbridge).
A replacement bus service is available to you.
19 stations renovated
This work has been planned for a long time. The oldest tram line inIle-de-France is undergoing a series of modernization works. Objective: that by 2023, the 19 historic stations along the route, between the Saint-Denis station and the Bobigny town hall in Seine-Saint-Denis, are thus transformed.
The works concern not only the stations with better accessibility and more modern furniture, but also their surroundings. The pedestrian paths will be made secure and the crossroads around the stations redeveloped.
Since Wednesday January 27, it is the turn of the Town Hall station to lend itself to the “makeover” for a period of seven months. This station will be closed for the duration of the work, so it will be necessary to take the tram at the Liberation or Bobigny – Pablo Picasso station.
The Hôtel de Ville station will reopen its doors to travelers on August 2, 2021.
