An electric charge crossed two teenagers who were at the level of the RER tracks, this Wednesday, January 19 shortly before 8 p.m., at 81, avenue d’Aulnay in Blanc-Mesnil (Seine-Saint-Denis). The Bobigny prosecutor’s office “confirms the incident”.

“About twenty firefighters from six different rescue centers intervened on the scene”, underlines a spokesperson for the Paris fire brigade (BSPP). They provided care to the two teenagers as quickly as possible. One was in serious condition. He was also evacuated under motorized escort, indicates the BSPP.

“The two victims were born in 2005, they are two 16-year-old boys”, continues the Bobigny prosecution, which confirms that “one is very seriously injured”.

“At this stage, it is difficult to know what happened”

The circumstances of this electrification still remain unclear. However, according to the first elements, the two teenagers were perched on a stationary freight train, between the station of Drancy and that of Blanc-Mesnil. According to our information, one of the victims – the most seriously injured – would have touched a catenary.

“At this stage, it is difficult to know what happened, given the injuries, and in particular the burns of the victims, who were transferred to the hospital, indicates the representative of the public ministry. An investigation is opened in search of the causes of the injuries. »

This was entrusted to the officials of the Blanc-Mesnil police station, who should in particular endeavor to clarify the circumstances of this accident.
