Seine-Saint-Denis launches its free vaccination bus – Voltage

Free vaccination. The departmental council of Seine-Saint-Denis launched, this Monday, December 7, in La Courneuve, a flu vaccination bus.

Out of stock, absence of attending physician or lack of information, are all reasons that explain the low rate of flu vaccination in Seine-Saint-Denis. Only 45% of the population over 65 was vaccinated last year against 52% nationally.

It is to facilitate access to vaccination that the Departmental Council launched this bus. It welcomes people over the age of 65 who wish to be vaccinated against the flu free of charge.

If the device proves its worth, it will also be deployed next year against Covid-19. Next stop :

Tuesday December 8 at Sevran – 2 avenue Robert Ballanger

Wednesday December 9 at Bobigny – Edouard Vaillant market / Abreuvoir district, 3 rue de Rome.

Thursday December 10 at Clichy-sous-Bois – Center Social de la Dhuys, 11 rue Anatole France.

Friday December 11 at Saint-Ouen – Place Jean Jaurès
