Between 6.30 am and 9 am, on weekdays, the new bright red “Relay Express” scooter is easily spotted on the platforms of the RER E station, at Gagny (Seine-Saint-Denis).
Hot and cold drinks, pastries, a little press too: this new service is aimed atdaily travelers jostled by time, who could not take a coffee break before reaching the docks.
8,500 travelers at Gagny station
More than 8,500 travelers take the train during the week at Gagny station, served by the line E of the RER.
The red scooter is an unprecedented variation of the services usually offered by Relay shops in stations, by going closer to travelers. In Gagny, le « Relay Express » thus completes the offer of the store already established the station hall.
To improve their experience in the station, other projects will be implemented by 2021, including the installation of service counters or evening offers. The next one will be located in Choisy-le-Roi, in 2020.
