Here are the results of the citizen consultation ©RSM77
The participatory budget, you know ? This is a concept coming from across the Atlantic, from Porto Alegre in Brazil more precisely. The idea is simple: allow the inhabitants of Pontault-Combault (Seine-et-Marne) to realize one or more projects that will be carried out in the coming months.
Thus, on May 14, the municipality launched a major citizen consultation. In all, more than €120,000 were to be earmarked among the projects present in a list. “Four projects have been selected,” says the municipality, which would like to thank the population for “its mobilization”.
The four projects
Here are the four projects that came out on top following the votes of the citizens:
-Creation of a pedestrian walkway of 200m along long du Morbras.
-Installation of water collectors in several nursery and primary schools in the city to raise students’ awareness of the ecological challenge of reusing rainwater.
Renovation of the playground opposite the François-Mitterrand media library, dedicated to children aged 4 to 12.
-Creation of an educational tree circuit to (re)discover trees through educational panels and QR Codes for more information.
All of these projects will be launched before the end of 2022.
