Segway, from scooters to electric scooters is a snap

Segway-Ninebot is a leading brand for electric mobility for short distances around the world. Specializing in the construction of scooters, this time he tries his hand with one scooter for the city. Obviously electric. Its features make it perfectly suitable for quick work trips in city traffic.

First of all because it is easy to handle while driving and secondly because it is very light: it weighs just 90 kilos. But this does not affect its ability to be useful also as a means of transporting objects: under the saddle for two occupants, in fact, there is a capacity of up to 27 liters.

And, especially in these times, with the indiscriminate price increases of fuel and gas, having an alternative means of mobility can be even more important. These are the characteristics of its battery: 1.8 kWh (38 Ah). The Segway E110A in fact it can offer up to 60 kilometers of range with a full tank of electricity. Perhaps one of the few in this small electric scooter, the charging times: it takes about 6 hours to bring the battery to the maximum.

Features

The Segway E110A can touch the 50 kilometers per hour of maximum speed. We told you, in fact, that it was not a racing car. This is its power: 1.1 kW, or 1.5 HP (peak of 1.5 kW). But for city travel it is just fine. Moreover, it is equipped with full LED lights for a minimalist design, software updates via OTA, digital dashboard, electronic key, password unlocking and position control via the smartphone app.

As for safety, we mention both front and rear disc brakes, IPX5 certified water protection, and an Energy Management System (BMS) with over 30 protections to ensure battery safety and reliability.
