Bilbao insurance has expanded its range of Home insurance with the launch of ‘Professional home’, a product with which the insurer wants to provide greater protection to clients who develop their work activity from home, whether autonomous or professionals who are teleworking.
In addition to offering the usual coverage of home insurance, it includes professional technical assistance with support for virtual private networks (VPN), installation of digital certificates and advice for the application of technological improvements. It also incorporates the computer assistance available in the company’s Home policies, where the possibility has been added for a professional to come to the home to configure the electronic devices, as well as the loan of a replacement laptop.
Within ‘Professional Home’ the damage that office equipment may suffer is also guaranteed and with higher capitals than a standard policy. In addition, it includes services related to the house maintenance and the repair of white line appliances, as well as related to the health needs of the insured, such as medical advice by telephone 24 hours a day.
In order to Gabriel Urquiza, Deputy Director General of General Insurance de Seguros Bilbao, this new modality “allows us to offer, in addition to all the coverage of home insurance, additional guarantees to give security to those people who carry out their professional activity from home”.
