Segob Remembers World Television Day

Mexico City, November 21. It was the United Nations General Assembly that proclaimed November 21 as World Television Day and invited States to promote exchanges of programs focused on peace, security, economic and social development, and culture.

In Mexico, the body that supervises radio, television and cinematography content for its classification, transmission, marketing, distribution and exhibition is the General Directorate of Radio, Television and Cinematography (RTC).

In a statement, the Ministry of the Interior (Segob) said that it also coordinates and technically supervises the transmission, link and distribution of official programs in the media and the chains of radio and television stations in the country.
