When is there news about “Sonic the Hedgehog” series? Most fans of the blue hedgehog are currently wondering. After all, we have known for over a year that a new main part is in the making. The only question is when it will finally be revealed. Loud Aaron Webber, Social Media Manager of the “Sonic the Hedgehog” brand, SEGA takes the time to ensure the quality of new serial offshoots.

In the latest episode of the “Sonic Official” podcast, Webber said those responsible agreed a few years ago to play “Sonic the Hedgehog” games more development time to give. Previously, new titles were published almost annually, but Webber admits that this has not led to satisfactory results. Therefore fans should now be on longer waiting times because a longer development time means bigger gaps between the announcements, trailers and so on.
