SEGA Vice President Refutes Microsoft Acquisition Plan

Prior to this, Microsoft disclosed in an internal letter that it was considering acquiring SEGA, hoping that SEGA would own the development and distribution assets of series of works such as “Sonic Boy”, “Dragon”, “Persona”, and expand the content of Xbox Game Pass Attractiveness, but also to seize more development opportunities in the Asian market.
