Seela Sella’s song made Katja Ståhl roar –

In the latest The song of my life – broadcast saw a surprise when Nightwish How´s the Heart -song was revealed as Seela Sella’s song choice.

The host of the program, Katja Ståhl, in particular, couldn’t believe it when Sella’s name flashed up in the video. Samuel Harjanne, the other participant of the evening, also had a reason to stare.

– What? Ståhl roared in surprise.

Despite the surprised reaction, Harjanne got his guess right. Johanna Rusanen also guessed correctly.

A fun encounter

Sella’s song selection dates back to 2015, when Sella performed Nightwish Elanwith the song’s music video.

In the broadcast, Sella talked about the filming of the music video and how she liked the members of Nightwish. The actor had good memories of the filming days spent together.

Then a few years later, Sella and the band members met in a surprising way.

– In Helsinki, there was a discussion event open to the public, where there were different people talking about their profession. I was also invited there and I talked about my acting work. The hall was full of people and then all of a sudden I saw ads for Nightwish. They had a gig in Espoo in a few days, Sella explained.

Sella got excited about the commercials and started telling the audience that she knows the members of Nightwish and has filmed a music video with them.

– The more I told and encouraged, the more people started laughing. Then they moved a bit and laughed some more. I wondered what they were laughing at and just got more excited. Then I noticed they were looking behind me.

The actor looked behind him. The sight was surprising.

– There they stand. Nightwish’s team behind me. I thought it’s not true! Someone from the staff had heard that I was talking about it and they stayed at that hotel. Of course, they had gone to say that some granny is talking terribly about you there, Sella made the audience laugh.

The song’s message has made a special impression on Sella. He described it as an ode to empathy and humanity.
