Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Floods at several points in Malaysia forced 21,000 residents to evacuate to safer locations. One of the areas that was severely affected was Shah Alam, Selangor.

Video taken by drone shows housing submerged in water. The mud flood covered the entire residential area and left only the roof visible from the air.

The government is currently evacuating residents by deploying 66,000 joint officers. Floods in Malaysia occurred due to continuous rain from Friday (17/12). This flood is claimed to be the worst ever to hit the Selangor region.
