KOMPAS.com – Throughout the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, Xiaomi has brought a number smartphone flagship to Indonesia. Two of them are Redmi 9T and Poco M3.

Poco M3 officially entered Indonesia on January 22. One month later, Redmi 9T entered the Indonesian market.

Despite being under two different sub-brands, these two phones share similar specifications.

Both the Redmi 9T and the Poco M3 are both equipped with an IPS LCD screen measuring 6.53 inches. The front is both covered with Gorilla Glass 3 protective glass and decorated with a conventional waterdrop-style notch that contains an 8 MP selfie camera.

The offal sector is the same. The Poco M3 and Redmi 9T rely on the Snapdragon 662 chipset combined with two choices of RAM and internal storage, namely 4 GB / 64 GB and 6 GB / 128 GB.

This storage media capacity can be expanded with a microSD card up to 512 GB.

Other supporting features are the same, including a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, 3.5mm audio jack, and a reverse charging feature that can turn your cellphone into a power bank.

The battery can be charged via the USB Type-C port which supports 18 watts of charging. In the sales box, Xiaomi also includes a 22.5 watt charger, so users don’t need to buy it separately.

Redmi 9T and Poco M3 can both be purchased in Indonesia. Redmi 9T is sold at Rp. 2 million for the variant (4/64 GB), and Rp. 2.4 million for the variant (6/128 GB).

While the Poco M3 is sold at Rp. 1.9 million for the variant (4/64 GB), and Rp. 2.3 million for the variant (6/128 GB).
