Probably, a new scandal is brewing in Ukrainian show business. Scene legend Oksana Bilozir threatened Olya Polyakova and Tonya Matvienko for allegedly performing her compositions without permission.

In his Facebook profile the artist published a post in which she smashed her colleagues. Oksana Bilozir is outraged that some artists do not respect intellectual and copyright.

Of course, I am pleased that many of you like the songs that I perform, but to cover them so brazenly already? Despite the copyright, intellectual rights, the life I have lived in my songs … Is it really not enough creative imagination and my own creative thinking? I remind you that war is war, and the laws in Ukraine work! Do you want to receive letters of happiness? – wrote Bilozir.

In her address, she mentioned Olya Polyakova, who recently presented the song “Koliska Melody of Ukraine” to the well-known melody of Miroslav Skorik.

Here is how the original sounds, performed by Oksana Bilozir:

The artist also blamed Tonya Matvienko for the song “Kohaniy” – Igor Bilozir dedicated it to Oksana Bilozir and Kvitka Cisyk. In 2013, Tonya Matvienko performed this hit on “Ukrainian Song of the Year”:

The song “Kohaniy” was first performed by Oksana Bilozir back in the days of VIA “Vatra”, the soloist of which was her first husband, Igor Bilozir.

Oksana Bilozir was supported by subscribers in the social network – they are sure that it is necessary to bear responsibility for copyright infringement:

  • “I support, Oksana Vladimirovna! It’s easier to steal a song than to write it, and pass it off as your own … there is such a thing! Only we forget or don’t know at all that spiritual raiding is also a crime!”
  • “I agree! We need to appreciate the authors, performers and the life path that the song goes through in order to reach the hearts of the listeners! Permission to perform a song should be like a law!”

Recall that earlier Kuzma Scriabin’s mother accused the label of copyright theft on the work of the musician.
