In the regions of Plovdiv, Blagoevgrad, Pazardzhik and Smolyan, an orange code has been announced for intense precipitation with the formation of a snow cover between 20 and 35 cm.
The first snow fell in Varna. The ground turned white in the higher areas of the maritime capital and the outskirts of the city. A snow cape is visible on the road Aksakovo – Albena, the photojournalist of Radio Varna Rumen Sarandev saw. In the morning, light snow fell in the central parts as well.
No more snowfall is expected in Northeastern Bulgaria.
Cloudy weather will prevail during the day, and light rain is possible along the coast, and partial icing is possible there after midnight.
The wind during the night will be weak to moderate from the north, tomorrow it will gradually reorient itself from the east and in the evening it will strengthen.
