Venezuelan actress Coraima Torres has become a favorite of the TV audience with her participation in the hit series “Cassandra”, broadcast in many countries around the world. Later she participated in the series “Maria Emilia, Beloved”, “Wings of Love” and “Lorena”, writes Trud.
Korayma was born on June 6, 1973, in the Venezuelan city of Valencia. She is the youngest of three children in the family. Her big dream is to one day work as a lawyer, but at the age of 9 she found herself in the theater and decided to become an actress. She was accepted into the troupe of the local theater and participated in its productions for 4 years.
In elementary school, the future actress does not like studying and often runs away from classes. “I’ve never been a diligent student, on the contrary – I was quite naughty and violent and often ran away,” admits the actress. Then she entered the University of Caracas and there she met the director Luis Lamat, who opened the way for her to telenovelas.
Her first role was in “Gardenia”, and then she received an offer to star in “Maria Emilia, beloved” by the famous screenwriter Delia Fiao. Korayma says of her: “She is a great screenwriter and every one of her projects enjoys worldwide fame. I agreed to participate in this series without thinking at all, even if I had to divert from China. For me, Delia is a guarantee of success. She is my mascot.
On the threshold of the 50’s, Korayma boasts a great figure.
In the 90’s, her heroine Cassandra became famous all over the world. In the series of the same name, the actress is partnering with Osvaldo Rios and immediately there are rumors about a relationship between the two because of their screen chemistry, but alas, this is not true.
It was during the filming of the hit series that the happiness of the young actress’ success was overshadowed, as she was diagnosed with a tumor, which turned out to be benign, and after the operation, Korayma returned to the set. However, fate sends her a new test – Torres loses his mother and experiences the loss of her extremely hard. There are two more operations to remove tumors, fortunately successful.
Korayma is 48 years old today. She enjoys happiness in her personal life – she is married, has a son and lives with her family in Bogota. She has hundreds of followers on social media, who enjoys many photos revealing her athletic figure. After her huge success on the small screen, the beauty devoted herself to the theater stage. In his free time he likes to swim, dance, play tennis and is fond of football. She says her biggest drawback is smoking.
