One of the exchanged children – 3-month-old Vanessa, who is still with her mother Sevda Mihailova, is growing up in a dilapidated house.
A bgonair report shows the conditions in which the little girl’s life began. It is clear from the footage that the house where the child is being raised is ransacked and has its windows broken. The courtyard is dirty and the hanging wires are visible.
Little Vanessa is Sevda’s greatest joy until the police come to her house and inform her that the baby was most likely changed in the hospital and is not actually hers.
The mother is adamant that Vanessa is the child she gave birth to. “I’m sure this is the baby I gave birth to and left the hospital with. It’s their problem for them to say otherwise.”
Her brother said the woman felt sick and didn’t want to talk to the cameras. Even himself.
“It’s bad, that’s all. What can I tell you? You’re screaming inside for the baby. I can’t tell you anything else,” Sevda’s brother told BNT.
Sevda says she is shocked by what happened. She says she knows the other woman who, through a DNA test, discovered that her baby was not hers. They met in the hospital after giving birth.
From there I roared home. I have never doubted that this is not my son. I was by his side the whole time. Even after I gave birth to her, the mother also stresses.
