Walid Al-Faraj said on the “Action with Walid” programme: “Ronaldo’s transfer deal to Al-Nasr puts the Saudi League in the spotlight. Al-Nasr has become a ‘trend’ around the world because the deal is big.
He continued: “This historic deal has been spearheaded by Saudi company Al-Wasail’s alliance with Al-Nasr to market Ronaldo’s contract through sponsorships for the kingdom’s major companies and a range of government programs for tourism and others.” .
And he continued: “Many things will be revealed in the coming times, on the details of that deal, which has raised many questions from fans of other Saudi clubs. Where did the huge funding for this deal come from?”
