With two goals from Hulk, Atlético Mineiro beat Fluminense (2-1), this Sunday, at Mineirão stadium.
Atlético Mineiro is very close to being national champions again after 50 years. And much thanks to a striker that Portuguese fans know so well. Top scorer of Brasileirão with 17 goals, Hulk scored twice again this Sunday and guaranteed the victory of Galo against Fluminense (2-1), at Mineirão stadium, for the 36th round.
The goals of the former FC Porto striker were scored in the 38th and 60th minutes, with a penalty and free kick, respectively. The celebration was also entitled to “dance” (see video below). Manoel, at 14′, even opened the scoring for Fluminense.
With the victory, Galo reached 78 points, 11 more than Flamengo, with a game in hand. The rubro-negros would have to wait for Atlético not to win any of the three games that remain and still win the four duels they have in the competition. A scenario that makes Atleticans very close to the title.
