On Monday, the filming of the second season of the NRK series “First Time Service” began, with Herman Flesvig and his many characters at the helm.
And already today, Wednesday, NRK shares the first pictures from the set.
– The pictures hint at the premise for the season, says Linda Reistad, who is responsible for communications for the series at the state channel, and at the same time reveals that the character Preben Lohrengren is included in season two.

Flesvig himself says in a statement that he is “very excited” about the recording.
– It’s always scary, but I think it’s important to have some nerves. The hemorrhoids are in place, I sleep poorly, so we are exactly where we should be right before admission, he jokes.
Wanted to Russia
Parts of the action in the new season build on the last episode of the first season. This means that Flesvig, among other things, offers more of the privileged perception of reality of the character Preben, which we last saw in a prison with Russian-speaking prisoners.
In that connection, the production has been looking for places in Norway to turn into Russia, it says in the e-mail from NRK to Oslo municipality from March this year.
– There are many indications that we can not go to Russia, so therefore we look for places that are reminiscent of Russia in Eastern Norway, writes production worker in NRK, Joachim Ulrichsen, to Oslo municipality.

With average numbers of figures well over a million, and some episodes that have even been seen several million times, the success of Herman Flesvig’s NRK concept is indisputable.

– We have finished the script and now the difficult job of topping the first season begins. There will be several new characters, at the same time as the old acquaintances are with us, NRK’s editor-in-chief, Christina Rezk Resa, told Dagbladet last week.
The “First Time Service” has been nominated for the Golden Route in the category of best comedy program and Herman Flesvig is one of the favorites to walk away with the generous audience award for his efforts.
Whether he and the series will win their categories will be clear during the ceremony that will take place on Saturday 8 May.
