President Joe Biden and NASA chairman Bill Nelson released debut photos from the James Webb Telescope on Monday (11/7).

The photo on display shows a 4.6 billion year old galaxy cluster called SMACS 0723.

The Webb Telescope is the world’s premier space observatory.

Webb is expected to solve the mysteries of the solar system, see deep into the world around other stars, and investigate the mysterious structure and origin of the universe.

Launched on December 25, 2021, the US is building the Webb telescope for $10 billion.
