Flora Burgas, one of the most anticipated and beloved events of Burgaslia, started today.
Exhibition and shopping areas with beautiful seasonal flowers, arrangements and colorful art installations can be seen from today until May 6.
“Flora Burgas is a traditional beauty festival. An emblem for our city in front of the whole of Bulgaria. This year, more than 90 companies participated in the exhibition. The good mood for summer always starts with opening the Flora” said the mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov.

11:00 a.m. – Official opening of the National Flower Exhibition “Flora” Burgas – in the program: a dance presentation by the children from the “Magic” DG, a concert by the “Horesh sand” group

The first orchid society in Bulgaria develops the knowledge of growing orchids, their conservation in nature and the arts related to them.
The goals of the organization are educational and social, expanding the culture of collectors, easy access to collectible species, education in keeping, cultivating and protecting orchids. Creating a green culture among children and involving adults. Unlocking the creative potential of the active audience.
Krum Sotirov is an international orchid expert and president of the First Orchid Society in Bulgaria.
3:00 p.m. – Demonstration of festive floristry – hosts Elena Butko and Victoria Saiko, master florists.
Elena Butko – master florist. She graduated from an international school of arrangement in Latvia, the Academy of Floristry “Natalie Agevoy” in Ukraine, graduated with a specialization in Manager of Salons in Floristry, also graduated from the Moscow School of Design of Arayka Galstyana. Elena is the organizer of the international project Floristu skola AZ.
Victoria Saiko – artist, landscape architect, master florist. Participant and winner of a number of international competitions, champion of Ukraine for 2023, judge of floristry competitions, founder and teacher of the Artichoke school of floristry.
6:00 p.m. – Presentation of author’s electronic music – shooting of a video of Burgas artists from BORA PROJECT
BORA PROJECT is a project of talented Burgas artists – Radostin Koikov and Bozhidar Stoyanov. They have been involved in electronic music for over 10 years and their goals are aimed at popularizing this genre. Some time ago they started their podcast – Connect Series, and at the beginning of last year they made their first debut in Berlin with a three-day tour in the most iconic clubs there.

5:30 p.m. – Concert – presentation of the first music album “Road to the Top” by vocal trio DEJA VU
The charismatic guys from DÉJÀ VU are also winners of the audience’s grand prize from the 13th International Pop and Rock Music Festival “SOFIA” for 2023. They won with their original song “Beautiful Silence” to the music of Miro Stanchev.
