See more of the refurbished Mario games on Switch

The Super Mario 3D All-Stars bundle is just around the corner, and Nintendo has it now released a new video which shows us a little more of what Mario fans have in store. You can see the video at the top.

The video confirms what we have already assumed, namely that all three games have been upgraded to HD graphics, and in addition, all titles are optimized in a way that will provide a smooth and good experience on the Switch console.

The package also comes with music playback mode, which makes it possible to carry the Mario tones with you everywhere. Otherwise, you can take advantage of an “Assist Play” feature by giving one Joy Con control to a friend in Super Mario Galaxy.

Limited number

Super Mario 3D All-Stars consists of the three games Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy, all of which became highly acclaimed classics.

The collection package is part of the celebration of Mario’s 35th anniversary, which also includes a refurbished version of the Wii U game Super Mario 3D World and other news.

Nintendo has for unclear reasons chosen to make the package very limited. The collection package will be launched on 18 September and will only be available until March next year, which applies to both the physical and digital versions. Mario fans will thus have half a year to get a copy.

Some have also speculated about the limited availability by pre-ordering several copies of Super Mario 3D All-Stars and posted them on auction sites at prices well above the regular price.
