An unprecedented photo from 17 years ago was published by the author of the business publication The Hustle Trang Pan.
It shows a lunch meeting between the current two richest people in the world – Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk.
According to Pan, the photo is from 2004 – long before the two announced their ambitious plans for space travel and research.
1/ In 2004, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos met for a meal to discuss space.
It was one of their few in-person interactions.
The conversation they had perfectly captures the different approaches they’ve taken to space exploration.

Musk has even seen the photo, writing on Twitter that it’s hard to believe it happened 17 years ago.
So far, Bezos has not commented on this lunch since 2004, Business Insider writes, while Musk has already done so in the book “Space Barons”.
In it, he points out that SpaceX has already tried some of the ideas that Bezos gives, describing them as “stupid”.
Bezos, for his part, has repeatedly criticized Musk for his idea of sending people to Mars, while Musk has repeatedly declared Amazon’s business ventures to be borrowed from other companies.
SpaceX and Blue Origin compete for both patents and human recruitment and contracts with NASA.
According to the latest data from Bloomberg, Jeff Bezos is among the richest people in the world with a fortune of 183 billion dollars, or 10 billion dollars more than Elon Musk.
