Al-Marsad newspaper: a video clip documents the imminent completion of the production of “celestial bodies” of the villas of the Shaybara Island Resort in the Red Sea Project.
The video – which was documented from inside the factory – showed the completion of the project of the celestial bodies in a large percentage, in preparation for their transport and installation, between floating villas and villas on the mainland.
The villas come in different sizes: one bedroom (18m diameter), two bedroom (22m diameter) and three bedroom (26m diameter). Each villa weighs around 120 tons.
The polished steel of the villas will reflect the water, sky and coral reefs that characterize the island, and there will be 73 villas, half floating and the other half on land.
It will include many health and leisure facilities, restaurants and swimming pools and will be transported and installed by Mammoet, the leading heavy lifting company.
It is interesting to note that Shaybara Island is one of the islands located in the Red Sea, and follows the Tabuk region, northwest of Saudi Arabia.The area of the island is approximately 19.8 km2 and is 8 , 40 nautical miles from the coast.
